im gonna go ahead and let the cat out of the bag...
the secret is staying connected ( inner bicepts touching outter pecs throughout the swing) throughout the swing and using the lower body to initiate the down swing(turning belt buckle to target) thats what AK and many great ballstrickers do.
for me staying connected is key..whether im hitting a driver, iron,or wedge. even in the short game chip shots and pitch shots staying connected is key

Totally agreed, I love how he keeps the angle around his right knee and just winds up against it, great power move.

Looks more like 1 plane. Elbow tucked in and shaft not much above hit head. Left arm almost parallel to shoulders. Go look at Ben Hogans swing in slow mo.

Your somewhat correct but the amateurs take the club inside because the arms arent doing their job in hinging up only and the body isnt doing it's job in pivoting. All pros use those two combos, body pivoting and hands hinging, to seemingly put the club on plane all day

Using a mirror at home shows you everything on your swing. I used a simple mirror to get my club back on plane. It feels like Im taking the club way outside but its not actually going outside. From there, my hands and shaft get set perfectly at the top. This is why I love Anthony Kim's swing so much. It is a great swing to copy and I try to set my swing very much like AK.
